MARCY THRASH

CERTIFIED CANINE MASSAGE THERAPIST, CERTIFIED VETERINARY TECHNICIAN

Marcy Allard was born and raised in upstate New York. From a young age, she knew she had a special connection with animals as well as a strong interest in health and medicine. After high school, Marcy attended the State University of New York and received a bachelors degree in Wellness Management and Health Science. After working in the human health field for several years, she switched paths and started focusing on animal health. She received her associates degree from the Bel Rea Institute for Animal Technology in 2009 and has been working as a Certified Veterinary Technician since then.
Marcy strongly believes in full body health and seeing the body systems as a whole instead of individual parts. She is a firm believer that animals are particularly sensitive to energy, aura and emotions. She recognizes the importance of the bond between pets and their guardians and always tries to help strengthen that bond. She supports the One Health initiative, a worldwide strategy for expanding and collaborating communication in all aspects of health care for humans, animals and the environment.
In her spare time, Marcy loves hiking and camping with her dog/best friend, Hazel, seeing live music and volunteering with the Colorado Street Dog Coalition.
